[Version 3.0] How to Update Shift And Assign Shift On System Setting (Shift Manager)
To update the shift for the Default Shift, HR/Admin can refer to the following steps:
Step 1: Select System Settings
Step 2: Click Attendance
Step 3: In Shift Manager, select Details under Default Shift.
Step 4: Click Update
Step 5: In the Shift Setting column, turn on the following buttons:
- Enable employee clock in/out selfie
- Enable early & late indicator (if necessary)
- Display attendance confirmation before submitting (if necessary)
Step 6: In the Workday Setting column, you can mark the working day as Full Day, Half Day, or Off Day.
Step 7: If the shift includes a break time, in the Break Setting column, HR/Admin can turn on the Enable Break Time button.
Step 8: If you want to use the Overtime Automatic Calculation function, in the Overtime Setting column, HR/Admin can turn on the Enable Overtime Calculation button.
Step 9: Click Save
To update the shift for an existing shift, HR/Admin can refer to the following steps:
Step 1: Select System Settings
Step 2: Click Attendance
Step 3: In Shift Manager, Click Details under any custom shift, for example, Shift 1.
Step 4: Click Update
Step 5: In the Shift Information column, update (edit) the following fields:
- Desired Shift Name
- Desired Shift Description (if necessary)
- Desired Clock In & Clock Out times
Step 6: In the Shift Setting column, turn on the following buttons:
- Enable employee clock in/out selfie
- Enable early & late indicator (if necessary)
- Display attendance confirmation before submitting (if necessary)
Step 7: In the Workday Setting column, you can mark the working day as Full Day, Half Day, or Off Day.
Step 8: If the shift includes a break time, in the Break Setting column, HR/Admin can turn on the Enable Break Time button.

Step 10: Click Save
To assign an employee to a shift, please follow these steps:
Step 1. In the Administrator section, click on System > Setting.
Step 2. Click on Attendance.
Step 3. In the Shift Manager section, select the relevant shift and then click on Details.
Step 4. Click on Assign.
Step 5. Select the names of the staff involved in the shift.
Step 6. Once done, click on Save.
