[Version 3.0 EN] Attendance Overtime Shift Setup (Attendance - Shift Setting)

Steps to Set Attendance Overtime for Shifts:

Step 1: Click on the "System Setting" menu at the bottom of the left sidebar.

Step 2: Under the Setting section, click on "Attendance".

Step 3: In the Shift Manager section, select either the Default Shift or a Custom Shift and click “Details”.

Step 4: Click "Update".

Step 5: In the Overtime Setting section, enable the Overtime Calculation button.

Step 6: To configure the Overtime Buffer, if necessary, you can enable the Overtime Buffer button.

Step 7: In the Enable Overtime Buffer field, enter the buffer start time. For example, if you enter 5 minutes, the Attendance Overtime calculation will start after the Clock Out time plus the buffer time set.

Step 8: In the Select Overtime Rate field, choose the Overtime rate for the shift assigned to staff in that shift. You can select either the Default Overtime Rate provided by the system or a Custom Overtime Rate.

Step 9: In the Select Max Overtime Hour field, enter the maximum overtime hours allowed per day.

Step 10: Click Save once completed.

Note: Enable Overtime Buffer set on the Default Shift is 30 minutes.

This means the MySyarikat system will calculate Attendance Overtime starting from 5:31 PM until the staff’s final clock-out time. The period from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM is not counted as overtime.

If HR/Admin wants the MySyarikat system to automatically calculate Attendance Overtime starting from 5:01 PM until the final clock-out time, set the Enable Overtime Buffer value to 0.
