# [Version 3.0] How to Create Department in System Setting (Create Department)

|| In this section, HR/Admin can add and update the departments within the company. You can also check the number of staff assigned to each department in this section.

| 1. How to Create a Department in System Setting > Department

* To create a department, HR/Admin can follow these steps:


Step 1: Click **System Setting**.
Step 2: Click **Department**.
Step 3: Click **+ Department**.

Step 4: In the **Department Name** field, enter the desired **Department** name.
Step 5: In the **Code** field, enter the desired code.
Step 6: Click **Create**.
