[Version 2.0] How To Create Announcement In The MySyarikat Website

  1. Additional Notes For HR/Admin


  • Only staff with the Human Resource (HR) User Role can create & update Announcements in the MySyarikat system


  • To avoid any issues/problems when making an Announcement in the MySyarikat system, HR/Admin need to refer to the following conditions:


  • Information in the Message column cannot be copied from external sources & pasted into MySyarikat Announcement
  • HR/Admin needs to type to enter information in the Message column
  • In the Upload Attachment section, the MySyarikat system only allows you to enter 1 picture or file



  1. How to Make an Announcement on the MySyarikat Website


  • To make an announcement on the MySyarikat website, HR/Admin can refer to the following steps:


Step 1: Click Announcement
Step 2: Click Add Announcement



Step 3: In the Title field, enter the desired title


Note: The title must not exceed 20 characters/words (including symbols & spacing).



Step 4: In the Message field, enter the desired information


Note: Information in the Message column cannot be copied from external sources & pasted into MySyarikat AnnouncementHR/Admin needs to type to enter information in the Message column



Step 5: In the Select Department column, enter the desired Department


Note: If all staff are involved in the Announcement, in the Select Department column, HR/Admin can leave it blank



Step 6: In the Select Employee column, enter the desired staff name


Note: If all staff are involved in the Announcement, in the Selected Employee column, HR/Admin can leave it blank



Step 7: In the Upload Attachment column, enter the desired image or file


Note: In the Upload Attachment column, the MySyarikat system only allows you to enter 1 picture or file



Step 8: Click Save



Note: The following display will be displayedAnnouncements that have just been created will have a New statusThe MySyarikat system will display the name of the staff who made the announcement in the Announcer sectionThe MySyarikat system will also display the date the announcement was made in the Created Date sectionIf changes are made to the Announcement, the MySyarikat system will display the date the Announcement was updated in the Updated Date section
